Our tradition began in 1955. Grandma Oliva in the years following the war, ran a small grocery store where many tourists who came to visit Assisi stopped by. The activity began by chance, one day some gentlemen asked if they could have something to eat and it was offered to them the same meal of the staff who carried out the work in the fields. . These gentlemen left a nice reward for what has been received. From there started a small dining activity, that gradually became more and more organized and welcoming. Today, our restaurant can accommodate up to 250 people, also outdoors.
From the living room and the restaurant terrace, in addition to the tasty dishes, you can also enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The Old fireplace testifies the ancient and traditional roots of the regional cuisine Umbra. From the homemade pasta to the pizza cooked in a wooden oven and local cold meats and cheeses, to our Umbrian wines famous all over the world like the Sagrantino of Montefalco and many others.
